Forward Deployment Engineer

About this role

SingleStore is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to focus on solution architecture and technical delivery while engaging closely with customers. The role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution to develop scalable data solutions that align with client objectives.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers to understand their architecture and business goals
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions with SingleStore
• Lead sessions to define architecture and execution plans
• Act as a proactive thought partner for customers
• Oversee the delivery of impactful initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with product capabilities

What they're looking for

• 10+ years in solution architecture or technical consulting
• Strong foundation in databases and distributed systems
• Proven experience in production-grade solutions
• Expertise in integrating complex systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to translate requirements into technical plans
• Experience with enterprise customers preferred
