Field Application Engineer, NAND/SSD
About this role
SK hynix America seeks a Field Application Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between the company and enterprise customers for NAND/SSD solutions. You'll manage product qualifications, provide technical support, and align SK hynix roadmaps with customer data center architectures across AI/ML and cloud applications.
What you'll do
- Align SK hynix NAND/SSD product roadmaps with customer system architectures and present technical strategies to customer engineering teams
- Manage end-to-end qualification activities for global customers and ODMs, coordinating samples, validation reports, and design wins
- Serve as primary point of contact for technical issues, leading failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Drive validation activities with SSD controller partners to ensure successful NAND product integration
- Provide competitive analysis and market insights based on customer feedback to inform internal product strategies
- Handle customer quality and RMA processes, balancing customer requests with company business objectives
