About this role
SK Hynix Memory Solution is seeking an SSD Firmware Development Engineer Intern to design and implement firmware for the Flash Interface Layer of SSDs. This 6-month, full-time internship in San Jose involves developing NAND-based firmware, debugging on FPGA/ASIC platforms, and collaborating with hardware and validation teams.
What you'll do
- Design and implement firmware code for Flash Interface Layer of SSD
- Integrate developed code with other modules and resolve integration issues
- Debug and troubleshoot bugs in FPGA/ASIC environments
- Collaborate with SoC, hardware, and validation teams
- Contribute proactively to team projects and problem-solving efforts
- Communicate technical findings and documentation clearly
