Autonomy Engineer - Deep Learning Model Acceleration

Skydio is seeking an Autonomy Engineer specializing in deep learning model acceleration to enhance their autonomous flight technology. This role focuses on developing high-performance deep learning solutions for computer vision workloads, optimizing infrastructure, and improving model deployment processes.

What you'll do

• Develop high-performance deep learning inference solutions for CV workloads
• Analyze performance of CV and Vision Language Models to identify optimization opportunities
• Design and implement MLOps workflows for model deployment and monitoring
• Enhance training efficiency and implement GPU kernels for optimized inference
• Create SDKs for customer use in developing autonomous workflows
• Uphold and improve engineering standards based on best practices

What they're looking for

• Experience with MLOps and ML inference acceleration
• Strong knowledge of deep learning fundamentals and architectures
• Proficient in computer vision and image processing
• Experience managing ML pipelines for vision tasks
• Understanding of security requirements in ML infrastructure
