About this role
Skydio is seeking an Autonomy Engineer to enhance their drone's motion planning capabilities through the development of core software that integrates low-level controls and high-level task frameworks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in real hardware control and strong software engineering skills, particularly in C++.
What you'll do
- Develop new motion planning strategies
- Design and evaluate low-level controllers
- Define data and interfaces for motion planning
- Collaborate with UX team on planning/UI interactions
- Conduct simulations and evaluations of planning systems
