Deployment Engineer - Northeast

About this role

Skydio is looking for a Deployment Engineer in the Northeast to oversee the technical implementation and maintenance of their cloud-connected drone products. The ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction by effectively troubleshooting networking issues and facilitating seamless communication between customers and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Manage technical implementation of cloud-connected devices.
• Ensure proper installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Handle customer inquiries and track all relevant processes.
• Create and maintain deployment documentation and SOPs.
• Build scalable installation processes for secure networks.

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in cloud-connected device support
• Experience with WiFi networking
• Familiarity with cloud applications
• Understanding of Linux OS
• Knowledge of mechanical/robotic systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to travel frequently
• Ability to obtain Part 107 certificate
