About this role
Skydio is seeking a skilled software engineer to develop tools for the autonomy lifecycle, enabling better testing and analysis of autonomous systems. This role involves back-end and front-end work to enhance developer experience and assist various stakeholders within the company.
What you'll do
- Design and build replay and analysis systems for autonomy behavior inspection.
- Develop scalable infrastructure for automated testing and diagnostics.
- Define APIs and performance requirements for robotics middleware.
- Create reliable developer tools for efficient experimentation and development.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful tools.
- Manage internal services from concept to monitoring.

- 3+ years software engineering experience
- Proficient in C++ and Python
