About this role
Skydio is seeking a Software Engineer to develop tools supporting the autonomy lifecycle for drone technology. The role involves backend systems design and front-end visualization, aimed at enhancing developer experience and facilitating effective tooling for autonomy developers and stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design and build replay and analysis systems for autonomy behavior inspection
- Develop scalable infrastructure for automated testing and failure triage
- Define APIs and performance requirements between autonomy software and middleware
- Create high-quality developer infrastructure prioritizing reliability and usability
- Lead design and implementation of tools across development workflows
- Collaborate with teams for requirement gathering and delivery of impactful tooling
