Skyryse is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to enhance aviation safety and accessibility through innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in human factors and mechanical engineering, working collaboratively to improve cockpit layouts and user experiences.

What you'll do

  • Develop vehicle occupant packages for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft
  • Conduct human factors testing and analysis for cockpit layouts and UI/UX
  • Create and manage documentation for FAA certification
  • Build seating bucks and simulators with the team
  • Generate CAD drawings and tooling for manufacturing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project goals

  • Expertise in human factors engineering
  • Mechanical engineering experience
  • SolidWorks and/or CATIA proficiency
  • Experience with Digital Human Models
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration
