Prinicpal Software Engineer - Data Engineering & Streaming Primitives

Snowflake is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to develop core data engineering and streaming primitives that will enhance their cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale distributed systems and will play a vital role in defining technical direction and leading multi-quarter initiatives.

• 15+ years in distributed data systems
• Expertise in stream processing or data transformation
• Strong foundations in distributed systems and algorithms
• Proficient in C++ or Java
• Experience with petabyte-scale production systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-team initiatives
