About this role
Socket is looking for a Sales Engineer for the EMEA region to drive growth by combining pre-sales technical expertise with customer success. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between prospective clients and existing customers, ensuring successful evaluations and ongoing satisfaction with Socket's solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discussions and product demonstrations for prospects
- Design and execute proofs of concept for potential clients
- Manage the success and growth of European enterprise accounts
- Drive feature adoption and handle customer feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer needs
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and renewal discussions
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in pre-sales technical roles
- 2+ years in customer success or account management
- Experience in security or SaaS environments
- Understanding of software supply chain security
- Proficiency with package managers and programming ecosystems
- Ability to read/write scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git
- RESTful API experience
