About this role

Socket is looking for a Sales Engineer for the EMEA region to drive growth by combining pre-sales technical expertise with customer success. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between prospective clients and existing customers, ensuring successful evaluations and ongoing satisfaction with Socket's solutions.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discussions and product demonstrations for prospects
  • Design and execute proofs of concept for potential clients
  • Manage the success and growth of European enterprise accounts
  • Drive feature adoption and handle customer feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer needs
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and renewal discussions

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years in pre-sales technical roles
  • 2+ years in customer success or account management
  • Experience in security or SaaS environments
  • Understanding of software supply chain security
  • Proficiency with package managers and programming ecosystems
  • Ability to read/write scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Go
  • Familiarity with source control systems like Git
  • RESTful API experience
