About this role
Socket is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the APAC region to provide technical assistance to developers and security teams. This role involves troubleshooting issues, creating support documentation, and identifying patterns to improve customer experience and product development.
What you'll do
- Manage support tickets during APAC hours from response to resolution
- Troubleshoot integration issues using logs and webhook inspections
- Provide detailed information to engineering for escalated cases
- Explain scan results and risks to developers and security teams
- Create support resources and guides for common issues
- Identify recurring issues and communicate with product teams
What they're looking for
- 2+ years in technical support or similar role
- Familiarity with terminal commands and basic scripting
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build processes
- Knowledge of security tools and supply chain risks is a plus
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Ability to document troubleshooting processes
- Experience with Zendesk or similar tools
- Exposure to open source ecosystems
