Software Development Engineer in Test

Socure is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance their automated quality engineering processes, focusing on Disaster Recovery and production system reliability. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in automation and systems thinking to validate critical workflows and develop self-diagnostic capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design automated health checks for DR and production environments
• Develop continuous validation pipelines for critical workflows
• Implement intelligent alerting based on functional failures
• Integrate observability signals with test frameworks
• Utilize AI/ML to detect failure patterns and root causes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service reliability

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in QA Automation or related field
• Expertise in automated test frameworks
• Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Strong programming skills (TypeScript, Python, Java)
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic)
• Knowledge of end-to-end test strategies
• Problem-solving in complex distributed systems
