Socure is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance their Document Verification team, focusing on building and maintaining robust backend services and APIs for identity verification. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities while ensuring system performance, reliability, and security.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to deliver features
• Champion best coding practices and code quality improvements
• Own backend architecture and API design decisions
• Optimize system performance and reliability based on data analysis
• Integrate machine learning components into the backend pipeline

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in backend services or distributed systems
• Proficient in backend programming languages, especially Golang
• Experience with gRPC and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of scalable systems in cloud environments
• Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
