About this role
Solid Power is looking for a Quality Engineer I/II to enhance their manufacturing and quality processes in the production of solid-state batteries. The role involves data analysis, quality reporting, and collaboration with various teams to maintain quality standards and address issues.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvements.
- Perform statistical analyses and escalate complex results.
- Prepare detailed quality reports summarizing findings.
- Develop and maintain inspection and sampling plans.
- Monitor processes for quality concerns and propose corrective actions.
- Document test methods and collaborate with engineering teams.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years in manufacturing or quality.
- Proficient in Excel and statistical software.
- Experience with quality tools like Pareto and 5-Why.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
- Mechanical aptitude for hands-on work.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
