Sono Bello is seeking a Data Engineer to oversee the organization's data platform, focusing on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and managing cloud resources. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Manage Azure resources including Data Lake Storage and Synapse.
• Translate analytic requirements into ETL workflows.
• Schedule jobs and implement data quality checks using orchestration tools.
• Optimize data models for analytics and reporting.
• Implement CI/CD workflows and monitor pipeline performance.

What they're looking for

• 4+ years in data engineering or related roles
• Expert-level Python
• Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL/Spark-SQL)
• Production experience with Databricks and Spark
• Configuring Azure data services
• Experience with REST/Graph APIs
• Knowledge of data governance standards
• Mentoring and documentation skills
