About this role
Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks across PlayStation platforms and services. You'll partner with engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery through comprehensive test strategies, automated testing, and CI/CD integration across multiple devices and environments.
What you'll do
- Design comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for new features and platform enhancements
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Develop automated tests to improve regression coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
- Investigate, reproduce, and verify software defects while collaborating with development teams
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor automation pipeline reliability
- Provide quality metrics, risk assessments, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders
