Antenna Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking an Antenna Engineer to manage the development of phased array and RF systems for Starlink, its advanced satellite internet service. The role involves designing, testing, and collaborating with various engineering teams to enhance connectivity solutions for diverse users globally.

What you'll do

• Design and fabricate antenna prototypes for phased arrays and consumer products
• Create electromagnetic simulation models to evaluate hardware performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for RF system validation
• Develop phased array alignment solutions
• Create test solutions for high-volume consumer products
• Write automation software for testing and documentation

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field
• Experience with antennas or communication systems
• Proficient with radio test equipment
• Programming in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB
• Understanding of antenna theory and RF components
• Experience with microwave frequency performance characterization
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
