Antenna Engineer (Starship)

SpaceX is seeking an Antenna Engineer for the Starship project, focused on RF engineering including the development of communication systems and antennas. This role involves collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines to support system integration and testing, aiming to enhance technologies for space exploration.

What you'll do

• Design antennas for communications and sensors across VHF to Ka-band
• Build and characterize prototypes for antennas and RF systems
• Develop measurement systems to support antenna design
• Analyze wireless systems for performance and integration
• Collaborate across disciplines to enhance RF manufacturing and test processes

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Experience with antennas or RF systems
• Proficiency in 3D electromagnetic simulation
• Knowledge of testing equipment and RF concepts
• Programming with Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
• Basic CAD skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
