Application Software Engineer

About this role

SpaceX is seeking an Application Software Engineer to develop mission-critical applications that enhance operations across the company. Ideal candidates will be collaborative problem solvers with a track record in full stack development, enabling SpaceX's ambitious goals including efficient systems for Starlink and rapid Starship production.

What you'll do

• Develop reliable software solutions for SpaceX operations
• Create new applications to improve operational efficiency
• Build prototypes to test key design concepts
• Own software engineering and product development tasks
• Analyze user problems to craft efficient solutions
• Participate in architecture, design, and code discussions

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in computer science or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Full stack development experience
• Proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go, Java, etc.
• Experience with single-page web applications
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD
• Design software systems
• Knowledge of data processing technologies
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
