Automation & Controls Technician, Infrastructure & Utility (Starship)

SpaceX is looking for an Automation & Controls Technician to join their Infrastructure Engineering team at Starbase, TX. The role involves designing, operating, and maintaining systems critical to Starship's operations, while enhancing infrastructure for production and utility management.

What you'll do

• Install and maintain automation and SCADA systems.
• Support projects with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
• Assist with automation upgrades for increased production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot critical power and utility system automation.
• Maintain documentation for SCADA systems.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.

• Hands-on experience with automation systems.
• Ability to configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
• Familiarity with industrial controls and electrical schematics.
• Experience with SCADA applications.
• Knowledge of safety standards (NFPA, IEEE).

• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
