What you'll do

• Create battery test equipment and execute development tests
• Establish and maintain test facilities for various battery tests
• Document test plans, procedures, and outcomes
• Design and analyze mechanical structures and systems
• Operate and monitor test beds with high attention to detail
• Collaborate with flight engineering team to define test requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience with battery systems and mechanical fixturing
• Knowledge of electrical and thermal systems
• Proficiency in CAD software like Unigraphics (NX)
• Basic programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with data acquisition and testing instrumentation
• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery safety
• Hands-on design and fabrication experience
