Build Engineer (Starship)

As a Build Engineer for SpaceX's Starship project, you will focus on developing processes for efficient manufacturing in propulsion, avionics, and structural assembly. Your role includes implementing precision tooling and automation to enhance product quality and production speed.

What you'll do

• Develop and test manufacturing processes and tools
• Design precision tooling to reduce assembly errors
• Automate manufacturing processes for repeatability
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design improvements
• Create inspection techniques to raise yield and cut cycle time
• Oversee transition from development to high-rate production

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• Mechanical assembly proficiency
• Experience with weld processes and inspection
• Knowledge of SQL for data management
