About this role
SpaceX seeks a Civil Engineer to design and manage land development and utility infrastructure projects for the Starlink production facility in Bastrop, TX. You'll oversee planning, permitting, design documentation, and field construction management for industrial and manufacturing projects, working across multiple engineering disciplines to build a world-class manufacturing campus.
What you'll do
- Create design drawings, documentation, and reports for industrial and commercial land development projects
- Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, and underground utility calculations and analyses
- Coordinate and design infrastructure to obtain local, state, and federal permits
- Manage civil construction aspects in the field including quality control and contractor coordination
- Develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates with contractors and internal stakeholders
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time during project execution
