Civil Engineer, Land Development (Starship Infrastructure)

SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development to join their Starship Launch Engineering team at Cape Canaveral, FL. This role involves designing and managing infrastructure projects that support orbital launch capabilities for their rockets.

What you'll do

• Create design documents and reports for land development projects
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, and stormwater control
• Coordinate to secure local, state, and federal permits
• Oversee construction project aspects, ensuring quality control
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project requirements
• Quickly resolve design and construction conflicts in the field

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• 1+ years of civil engineering experience
• Proficient in stormwater management and hydraulics
• Knowledge of electrical and geotechnical disciplines
• EIT or Professional Engineering license preferred
• Experience in project management for construction projects
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and coordination skills
