About this role

SpaceX seeks a Civil Engineer to design and manage land development infrastructure for Starship launch facilities at Cape Canaveral. You'll lead site design, permitting, construction oversight, and real-time problem-solving for the world's largest rocket launch complex.

What you'll do

  • Create design drawings, documentation, and engineering reports for aerospace and industrial land development projects
  • Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, and underground utility calculations and designs
  • Coordinate permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies for land and utility projects
  • Oversee civil construction in the field with quality control and multi-disciplinary contractor management
  • Develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates with contractors and stakeholders
  • Resolve design and construction issues on-site in real time
