SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for their Starbase Infrastructure team, focusing on designing and building critical infrastructure projects. What you'll do
- Develop and issue design documentation and drawings for land development projects
- Perform necessary calculations for grading and drainage, and other utilities
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline project team on engineering, procurement, and construction
- Drive the coordination needed for obtaining development permits
- Manage civil construction aspects, ensuring quality control and conflict resolution
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Proficient in pump design and stormwater management
- Understanding of electrical, piping, and geotechnical disciplines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- PE or EIT license preferred
- Project management experience in construction
