CNC Programmer - Level 4/5 (2nd Shift)

About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Level 4/5 CNC Programmer for the second shift who possesses in-depth knowledge of CNC operations and programming. This role involves collaborating with machinists and engineers to enhance productivity and optimize machining processes.

What you'll do

• Program CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE software
• Run NC simulations and manage program revisions
• Adjust speed and feed parameters for carbide tools
• Suggest design changes for improved manufacturability
• Set up and operate machines as required
• Monitor production flow and report issues
