CNC Programmer, NX CAM (Starlink) - Level 4/5

About this role

SpaceX is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team, focusing on the Starlink project. The ideal candidate will collaborate with machinists and engineering teams to enhance productivity and optimize machining programs, particularly in tool and die applications.

What you'll do

• Program CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE.
• Maintain revision control on Vericut NC files.
• Adjust speed and feed parameters for tooling.
• Suggest design changes for manufacturability.
• Set up and operate machines as required.
• Propose process improvements regularly.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience
• Proficiency in NX software
• Graphite electrode programming expertise
• Multi-axis CNC machine operation
• Tool and die application experience
• Knowledge of carbide tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work shifts including overtime.
