Construction Project Engineer (Starship)

About this role

SpaceX is looking for a Construction Project Engineer to play a vital role in the development of new facilities for the Starship program as it enters a significant growth phase. The engineer will manage construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while supporting the broader mission of enabling human exploration of space.

What you'll do

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery
• Manage aspects of multi-discipline construction projects both in the field and office
• Perform project control tasks such as scheduling and cost management
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal teams
• Resolve design and construction issues in real time
• Coordinate necessary city and governmental approvals

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
• 2+ years of construction experience
• Strong project management skills
• Analytical problem-solving abilities
• Experience in multi-discipline construction environments
• Ability to work at elevated heights and outdoors
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
