SpaceX is looking for a Critical Lift & Transport Engineer to join their Starbase team, focusing on optimizing launch pad operations and equipment transport. The role involves addressing complex engineering challenges and ensuring the safety and reliability of lift operations for Starship and Super Heavy booster vehicles.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute heavy lifts and transports of large-scale hardware while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop critical lift plans and rigging designs using AutoCAD and FEA tools.
• Coordinate with teams to assess hardware properties and load paths during lifts.
• Select and specify equipment needed for transport, ensuring proper inspections.
• Address complex structural, civil, and mechanical issues.
• Provide engineering recommendations based on thorough calculations.
