Design Verification Engineer (Silicon Engineering)

SpaceX is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced ASICs for their Starlink satellite internet system. The role involves collaborating with diverse engineering teams, focusing on the verification of complex digital designs for both space and ground applications.

What you'll do

• Verify digital ASIC designs at block and system levels
• Write and review test plans, develop test harnesses
• Create SystemVerilog testbench infrastructure for DSP blocks
• Execute test plans and manage coverage closure
• Automate test case generation using Python and MATLAB
• Contribute to pre-silicon verification and chip validation

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
• Experience with design verification and test bench development
• Familiarity with verification methodologies such as UVM
• Object-oriented programming skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of constrained random verification
• Experience with scripting for automation
• RTL design and post-silicon validation expertise
