Electrical Design Engineer, Gateways & Customer Hardware (Starlink)

About this role

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for their Starlink team, responsible for developing customer-facing hardware such as satellites and Wi-Fi routers. This role requires collaboration across engineering disciplines to create reliable communication systems and devices, while ensuring high-performance integration from concept to production.

What you'll do

• Design and test electronics for satellite communication
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams
• Drive development from schematic capture to hardware testing
• Support hardware through production and integration
• Analyze data to enhance design performance
• Identify solutions for complex engineering challenges

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 1+ years in circuit and hardware design
• Mixed-signal circuit board design experience
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++
• Experience in product life cycle development
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Master's degree preferred
