Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

SpaceX seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems to join its Construction Projects team at the McGregor Rocket Development Facility. The role involves collaborating on design and construction of essential infrastructure to support the company's long-term mission of enabling human life on Mars.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the team on engineering and construction activities
• Develop drawings and design documentation for various projects
• Manage construction contracts with subcontractors
• Resolve on-site design and construction conflicts
• Coordinate with electrical utility providers for power service
• Engage with engineers and project stakeholders

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 3+ years of experience with power systems
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems
• Experience with UPS and backup generators
• Ability to assess issues and assist in troubleshooting
• Attention to detail in design and implementation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
