SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of high-reliability electronics for Starlink satellites. The role encompasses the entire lifecycle of hardware systems, incorporating electrical, mechanical, thermal, and software engineering disciplines to enhance global internet connectivity.

What you'll do

  • Develop high-reliability electronics for satellites
  • Conduct system trades, requirements capture, and component selection
  • Oversee schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Support hardware through production and satellite integration
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Challenge assumptions and approach problems creatively

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or physics
  • Experience in circuit and electronic product design
  • Understanding of mixed-signal circuit boards
  • Programming skills in Python or C/C++
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging capability
  • Experience with aerospace systems
  • Familiarity with communication protocols like I2C and SPI
