Fluids Engineer (Starship)

About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Fluids Engineer to contribute to the production of the Starship space launch system. This role involves designing, building, and deploying automated fluid systems to enhance vehicle performance validation and contribute to efforts aimed at establishing a human presence on Mars.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy automated fluids systems for vehicle performance validation
• Integrate and validate test systems for production cells
• Conduct fluids analysis to troubleshoot design performance issues
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams for scaling solutions
• Support vehicle test operations and provide technical assistance
• Oversee project timelines and adapt processes as needed

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Manufacturing design experience
• Fluids system design and testing
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD
• Problem-solving skills in dynamic settings
