GNC Engineer, ADCS (Starshield)

SpaceX is seeking a GNC Engineer for the Starshield program, focusing on spacecraft attitude control and navigation systems to support national security. The role involves software development, algorithm design, and simulation to ensure satellite operational success while balancing various mission requirements.

What you'll do

• Design and implement satellite GNC software for all flight phases
• Develop concepts of operations that manage thermal, power, and momentum needs
• Create onboard GNC algorithms for vehicle autonomy and fault tolerance
• Update GNC software for satellite design revisions and missions
• Conduct high fidelity modeling and simulation of satellite dynamics
• Participate in hardware-in-the-loop testing and validation
