Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

What you'll do

• Conduct failure analysis on satellite hardware and implement corrective actions
• Utilize design schematics and test equipment to identify failure causes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability
• Work with test engineers to improve testing procedures
• Monitor quality metrics and address non-conforming products
• Document failure analysis results and corrective actions

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 1+ years in hardware development or reliability engineering
• Expertise in electronic hardware troubleshooting
• Experience with environmental testing methods
• Programming knowledge in Python, C, or C++
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of circuit testing and RF hardware testing
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
