About this role
SpaceX seeks an Integration & Test Engineer for Starmind, a satellite constellation delivering orbital AI compute powered by space-based solar energy. You'll oversee the manufacturing pipeline for custom compute electronics, memory, and networking systems, managing assembly, integration, and testing to meet performance requirements for on-orbit data centers.
What you'll do
- Manage physical infrastructure, equipment, and operations for test and integration activities
- Design mechanical infrastructure and tooling to support manufacturing and testing workflows
- Assess designs for manufacturability, integration feasibility, and operational compatibility
- Coordinate across engineering teams, specialists, and technicians to optimize test operations
- Integrate new satellite hardware into existing and new test infrastructure
- Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and drive system improvements
