Integration & Test Engineer (Bus & Payload Sub-Assemblies)

SpaceX is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to oversee the development of manufacturing and testing processes for satellite sub-assemblies. The engineer will collaborate across teams to ensure reliable delivery of hardware and contribute to the design of new systems.

What you'll do

• Manage assembly flow and testing operations for satellite sub-assemblies
• Address production area challenges to enhance efficiency
• Refine assembly procedures using feedback and lessons learned
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and reliability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize reliability

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years in mechanical/electromechanical design
• Experience in testing and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with propulsion and thermal systems
• Understanding of composites and avionics integration
• Documentation and configuration management skills
• Ability to develop test plans and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
