IT Network Infrastructure Engineer

As an IT Network Infrastructure Engineer at SpaceX, you will design and maintain critical telecommunication infrastructures that support production and launch facilities. Your role will focus on fiber and copper cabling systems, operational voice, video, and real-time communication technologies essential for various space missions.

What you'll do

• Support design and troubleshooting of IP-based network infrastructure
• Coordinate downtime to minimize operational disruptions
• Manage telecommunication projects and change requests
• Conduct electrical system troubleshooting and load tracking
• Collaborate with teams for system optimization
• Oversee installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment

What they're looking for

• BICSI RCDD certification or STEM degree
• 2+ years in industrial electrical engineering
• Experience with LAN/WAN/WIFI/LTE systems
• Knowledge of low voltage power applications
• Familiarity with critical power infrastructure
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide repair instructions
• Attention to detail in high-pressure settings
• AutoCAD/Revit skills
