Launch Engineer, Ground Support Equipment (Falcon)

SpaceX is seeking a Launch Engineer focused on Ground Support Equipment for the Falcon Integration team in Vandenberg, CA. The role involves designing and activating systems critical for Falcon 9 vehicle processing and ensuring operational efficiencies in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design and activate equipment for vehicle processing and launch
• Support structural, fluid, and payload operations from Dockside to Launch
• Perform flight inspections and umbilical refurbishments
• Use CAD and FEA to meet design requirements
• Lead design reviews and activation tests
• Collaborate with teams during hardware operations

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 1+ years of hardware experience
• NX/Teamcenter proficiency
• CAD and FEA experience
• Analytical programming (Python, MATLAB)
• Hands-on fluid systems experience
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability in high-pressure environments
