Liquefied Natural Gas Process/Project Engineer

SpaceX is looking for a Liquefied Natural Gas Process/Project Engineer in Starbase, TX, to oversee the development of methane liquefaction infrastructure and natural gas pipelines. The role requires a blend of engineering expertise and project management skills to drive projects efficiently and safely to completion.

What you'll do

• Support engineering and project management for methane liquefaction and pipeline projects
• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders on technical decisions
• Collaborate with EPC firms for design and construction of infrastructure
• Manage third-party contractor relationships to ensure quality and performance
• Oversee project execution from conception through commissioning
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering
• 3+ years of LNG processing or natural gas experience
• Understanding of cryogenic thermodynamics and heat exchangers
• Hands-on LNG plant operations experience
• Familiarity with process simulation tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of LNG and pipeline design codes
• Experience in fast-paced energy environments
