Manufacturing Engineer (Starship Components Operations)

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Starship Components Operations team in Hawthorne, CA. The role focuses on optimizing factory design, material flow, and enhancing production processes for critical components of the Starship/Super Heavy spacecraft.

What you'll do

• Design factory and production layouts for efficiency
• Conduct vendor negotiations and manage schedules
• Facilitate process walks and implement improvements
• Lead projects to minimize costs and time
• Enhance systems and processes across production teams
• Develop analytical tools for decision-making

• Bachelor’s in physics or engineering
• Mechanical design and hands-on manufacturing
• Project management and process engineering

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python/R

• Experience in developmental manufacturing environments
