SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Supply Chain team at Starbase, TX, focusing on the Starship program. The role entails addressing manufacturing challenges, ensuring quality, and optimizing supplier relationships to facilitate production processes.
What you'll do
- Act as the technical liaison for rocket parts, resolving manufacturing and quality issues.
- Manage new product introductions and establish reliable manufacturing processes.
- Conduct design for manufacturing reviews to ensure parts can be produced efficiently.
- Identify and vet suppliers for quality control and timely delivery.
- Develop specifications to communicate quality and manufacturing needs.
- Lead investigations into defects and collaborate on solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Manufacturing experience in a production setting
- Understanding of propulsion and fluid system manufacturing
- Familiarity with sheet metal forming and cutting processes
- Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and report writing
