SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Construction Projects Team in Bastrop, TX. The role involves collaborating on infrastructure projects crucial for SpaceX’s mission, including coordinating MEP systems and managing construction contracts.

What you'll do

• Lead project teams in MEP engineering processes
• Develop design documentation and reports for various projects
• Negotiate and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
• Resolve on-site design and construction conflicts
• Ensure reliable power service through coordination with utility providers
• Engage with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 3+ years of MEP systems design or build experience
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing design
• Familiarity with power distribution systems under 600Vac
• Experience with critical power infrastructure
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit (beginner to intermediate)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to handle high-stress environments
