Mechanical Engineer, Machine Design (Starship)

SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Machine Design for its Starship Tooling team. This role involves collaborating with engineers to create and optimize production machinery and infrastructures critical for the Starship launch vehicle manufacturing process.

What you'll do

• Design and build custom machinery for Starship production
• Develop future factories for rapid build and testing
• Collaborate to optimize vehicle design and manufacturing
• Execute structural sizing and hardware fabrication
• Create detailed models in NX
• Perform engineering analysis for structures and mechanisms
