MEP/Construction Engineer

About this role

SpaceX is seeking an MEP/Construction Engineer to join their Construction Projects Team in Bastrop, TX. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to design and implement infrastructure projects that support SpaceX's mission of space exploration.

What you'll do

• Lead project teams through MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes
• Develop and issue design documentation and reports for various projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts
• Resolve on-site design and construction conflicts
• Coordinate with utility providers for critical infrastructure
• Interact with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 3+ years in MEP systems design or construction
• Familiarity with electrical and power distribution systems
• Knowledge of HVAC principles and plumbing design
• Experience with critical power infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work in high-stress environments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit
