About this role
SpaceX seeks an Operations Engineer for the Starlink satellite program to optimize materials management and supply chain operations. You'll lead process improvements, manage material flow projects, and ensure production efficiency while collaborating across development, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute capital equipment, infrastructure, and facility upgrades for materials management to meet production demand
- Manage material flow projects with tight timelines while coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and waste reduction across the supply chain
- Identify root causes of supply chain challenges and develop effective solutions
- Develop and track key performance indicators and operational metrics
- Train logistics teams and leaders on operational best practices and process improvements
