Operations Engineer (Thermal Hardware)

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead the transformation and industrialization of Thermal Hardware Manufacturing. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement methodologies while collaborating closely with internal teams.

What you'll do

• Drive transformation and industrialization in a manufacturing site
• Enhance labor efficiency and utilization
• Reduce cycle time and waste
• Develop and enforce execution of the lean roadmap
• Optimize production layouts and material flow
• Coach team members on continuous improvement

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and project management
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Six Sigma certification preferred
